For the 2026 Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles Lake Burton Showhouse, Milieu1928 partnered with Tiffany Wigbels of Compton Design Group to feature Brentwood, a custom Venture table tennis table designed for the Terrace Level Rec Room & Bar.
Set against the backdrop of Lake Burton, the space was conceived as a welcoming retreat where recreation and relaxation coexist effortlessly. Tiffany Wigbels envisioned a room that felt approachable yet elevated—a destination within the home designed for gathering with family and friends after a day on the water. Layered textures, warm wood tones, and thoughtful details created an atmosphere that was both sophisticated and inviting.

Rather than treating recreation as an afterthought, the space embraced play as an essential part of the home experience. Brentwood anchored the room, creating opportunities for connection, conversation, and friendly competition while remaining visually harmonious with the surrounding furnishings and architectural details.

Lacquered in a soft moss green with parquet inlay and subtle, hidden drawers, the piece feels both refined and playful, inviting moments of strategy and connection.

At the center of the room, Brentwood served as both a functional game table and a design statement. The custom Venture table tennis table was selected for its ability to seamlessly integrate into the overall design narrative while maintaining the performance and craftsmanship expected of a piece built for play. Finished in rich walnut and paired with custom paddles and accessories, the table complemented the room’s natural palette and relaxed lakefront aesthetic.
