For our Fall 2025 Showroom Edit, we are proud to feature Emily Gwen Sabonis-Chafee as our Guest Artist.
Based in Atlanta, Emily works across both painting and photography, creating work that feels at once personal and deeply resonant. A graduate of Georgia College with a background in Fine Art, her practice is grounded in an enduring fascination with the natural world and the stories it holds.
Emily’s recent collaborations with Atlanta’s interior design community have resulted in striking commissioned pieces that live within beautifully designed homes across the city. Her work balances sensitivity and strength—layering inspiration from her own experiences with a nuanced appreciation for nature’s forms, colors, and rhythms.
As a guest artist for Milieu 1928’s Fall 2025 Edit, Emily brings a collection that reflects both her artistic voice and our belief in the power of design to transform a space. Her pieces invite viewers to pause, connect, and carry something lasting with them.
