Farfalla
For the 2026 Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles Spring Southeastern Showhouse, Milieu1928 partnered with Alexandre Fleuren Interiors to create Farfalla, a custom shuffleboard designed for the lower terrace level bar and lounge of the showhouse residence located in the Chastain area of Buckhead. Inspired by the energy, movement, and visual language of Formula One, the space blended bold color with a refined, livable approach to entertaining. Finished in a striking Ferrari yellow, Farfalla became a focal point within the lounge—bringing together play, craftsmanship, and sculptural design in a way that felt immersive and elevated.
Alexandre Fleuren drew inspiration from the photography of Atlanta automotive photographer Jon Zeitouni, whose work specializes in capturing private car collections. While the imagery throughout the space references the world of Formula One, each photograph actually features vehicles from private collections owned by Georgia residents—adding a distinctly local layer to the globally inspired design narrative.

Lacquered in a soft moss green with parquet inlay and subtle, hidden drawers, the piece feels both refined and playful, inviting moments of strategy and connection.
